He serves as the current Vice President of the American Constitutional Society Wyoming Student Chapter and is the Student-Faculty Representative of the Wyoming John Burnam Student Bar Association. He was recently published in the Spring 2025 issue of the Wyoming Law Review.

Before law school, Chance attended Colorado State University and earned a double major in History and English. Since starting at the University of Wyoming, Chance has worked in criminal prosecution, administrative law, and on ESA projects.

In his free time, Chance hikes weekly, reads, and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends.
