With his impressive background and extensive experience in labor and employment law, Carl brings a unique blend of expertise to our firm that will help expand our litigation practice at Kuiper Law Firm.

Carl Wilson’s journey to becoming Kuiper Law Firm’s Director of Litigation is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence. He graduated summa cum laude from South Texas College of Law, an institution known for producing top-tier legal professionals. While studying at South Texas College of Law, Carl served as an assistant editor for the South Texas Law Review, emphasizing his dedication to legal scholarship and rigorous research. He was also a Langdell School scholar in property law, a member of Phi Delta Phi, and received CALI Awards for Excellence in various key legal areas, including copyright law, agency and partnership, Texas wills and trusts law, and federal income taxation.

Following law school, Carl Wilson worked with AM100 firms as a labor and employment associate. In this role, he represented Fortune 100 and 500 companies in a wide range of employment matters, including overtime disputes, discrimination claims, retaliation cases, and noncompete agreements. His expertise extended to counseling clients on federal, state, and international employment laws, showcasing his deep understanding of the complexities of labor and employment law.

Carl’s legal career also includes internships with notable institutions, including the Honorable Judge David Hittner, United States District Court, Southern District of Texas, Texas Attorneys and Accountants for the Arts, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. These experiences allowed him to gain valuable insights into the legal system. Prior to law school, Carl managed and negotiated local and national collective bargaining agreements, artist engagement, production and recording contracts for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Houston Grand Opera.

Carl Wilson’s appointment as the Director of Litigation at Kuiper Law Firm is a significant step for both him and our firm.
