She has a strong working knowledge of New Mexico and federal and state lands. Prior to joining the oil and gas industry, Vanessa enjoyed a successful 20-year career in marketing where she created and implemented marketing campaigns for a long list of Houston clients from local commercial landscape companies to luxury divisions of large real estate firms.

A native Houstonian, Vanessa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Houston Baptist University (now Houston Christian University) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to take long walks to appreciate nature.  When she is not baking or gardening, you will find her in local antique shops hunting for her next great find – another vintage piece of bird art to add to her eclectic collection.  And if you ever need someone to eat TexMex with, she is your go-to-person!
