Shortly after graduation, she began her career in the Oil & Gas industry as a Lease Analyst at a privately held company, where she primarily supported operations in the Mid-Continent region for four years. She later joined a larger public company, where she held several roles including Lease Analyst, Land Technician, and Lead Land Analyst. Her tenure there spanned nearly fifteen years, during which she supported projects across multiple U.S. basins.

She and her husband have lived in the Oklahoma City area for more than twenty years and consider it home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog.
