During law school, he clerked for a large oil and gas title firm, assisting attorneys with title opinions for Barnett and Eagle Ford shale assets.  Following graduation, Jeff worked in-house for a South Texas oil and gas operator.  This practical experience was beneficial in Jeff’s career practicing title examination and field landwork over the next 15 years. 

Jeff is a Certified Professional Landman, and has drafted numerous drilling, division order and supplemental title opinions for lands all over Texas. 

Jeff enjoys fishing the Texas Gulf Coast, cooking, traveling with his wife Amy, and restoring vintage cars.
