Prior to attending law school, Blakely worked in public education as a school librarian as well as a classroom English teacher.
She received her Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas and her B. A. in English from Texas State University. Currently, she is a rising 3L at the University of Houston Law Center.
In her spare time, Blakely enjoys reading a good book, Saturday movie nights with her family, and cooking new recipes. Her favorite place to travel is Walt Disney World.
