He began his legal career in Washington D.C. working for a nationally ranked law firm with offices across the United States.  After returning to Oklahoma, he previously served as the Managing Partner of an Oil and Gas law firm and as the Managing Attorney for a well-established title company with deep Oklahoma roots. 

A native of Oklahoma and member of the Cherokee Nation, his family settled in the Oklahoma Territory before statehood.  He grew up in the northwestern plains of the state before attending the University of Oklahoma for both his undergraduate and law degrees.

When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his spouse, their three dogs, and their cat. An avid runner, he also participates in 5K races, especially when they support a good cause and feature a fun shirt design.
