Laura Bennett Schwarz Is an experienced oil and gas professional.

Throughout her nearly 20-year career, she has worked at several oil and gas companies in various roles including in-house landman, director of asset management, and title attorney.

A third generation Sooner, Laura grew up in Duncan where her family of attorneys and oil and gas “wild catters” introduced her to the industry. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma. She began her career as an in-house landman in Fort Worth before returning to Oklahoma City to both continue her career and attend Oklahoma City University School of Law, earning her JD in 2012.

In addition to landman responsibilities, she also prepared numerous title opinions and reviewed millions of acres of assets in Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Arkansas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania. She regularly supported business development, accounting, and legal departments with due diligence for both sale and acquisitions, data management, audit inquiries and litigation.

Laura has made her home in Oklahoma City with her husband Kai and their two daughters, Bennett and Clark.
