At the University of Denver, Mikayla was a student attorney with the Community Economic Development Clinic during her 2L year and remains actively involved with the Tribal Wills Project and Business Law Society. Mikayla, highly interested in oil and gas, is grateful for the opportunity to learn from the attorneys at Kuiper Law Firm while continuing to expand her legal knowledge and practical experience.

Prior to attending law school, Mikayla graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida and was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Excellence in Liberal Arts and Sciences. While at the University of Florida, she worked as a legal intern and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Society and the Gator Society for Pre-Law Women.

In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and trying new recipes.
