A native Oklahoman, he received both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Oklahoma. While in law school, he clerked for a Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court, in the Office of the Oklahoma Attorney General, and served as a Licensed Legal Intern for the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office. Nickolas also served on the Oklahoma Law Review as Topic and Staff Editor and Candidate Mentor, and was selected to participate in the Luther L. Bohanon American Inn of Court.

Nickolas and his wife Megan have been married since 2019, and they have two adventurous children. Outside of the office, he enjoys the great outdoors, spending time with friends and family, following the St. Louis Cardinals, traveling, and being active in his local church.

Aside from his work at Kuiper, Nickolas serves in the Army National Guard as a JAG officer.
