Patrick’s appointment reflects both his outstanding contributions since joining the firm in March 2023 and his deep commitment to delivering exceptional legal service to clients across the oil and gas industry.
Patrick brings more than 15 years of legal experience to his role, with a practice concentrated in oil and gas title examination. His expertise spans original and supplemental title opinions throughout Texas, as well as curative and land work across New Mexico, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Montana — making him a trusted resource for clients operating across diverse basins and regulatory environments.
Prior to focusing on oil and gas law, Patrick practiced Criminal Defense and Family Law, giving him a broad legal foundation that informs his meticulous and client-centered approach to title work. He entered the oil and gas industry in 2010 and has built a reputation for thoroughness, reliability, and practical counsel.
Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 2007. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.
