Her interest in working in the Oil & Gas industry peaked after interning with the General Counsel of an Oil and Gas Company. She joined Kuiper Law Firm as a Summer Associate in 2022, and continued clerking until she transitioned into an Associate in October 2023.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish, with a minor in International Studies, from Texas State University with honors. Afterwards, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she excelled on the Moot Court and Negotiations teams, receiving the David Swank Award for her professionalism.

During her time at OU Law, Kianna was a teacher’s assistant for OU Law’s M.L.S. in Indigenous Peoples Law program. She also served as the Business Development Editor for OU Law’s American Indian Law Review, where she aided in bring awareness to the implications of Federal Indian Law on various Tribal communities.

During her free time, Kianna enjoys travelling, fashion, yoga and keeping up with OU Sports. Furthermore, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, Maxi and Luci.
