Born and raised in Houston, he received a B.S. in Maritime Business from Texas A&M at Galveston. Matthew’s oil and gas interest stems from a summer working in Midland, Texas, where he had the opportunity to work as a field hand on workover rigs. His previous summer associate experience focused on commercial litigation, and he is excited for the opportunity to learn from the oil and gas attorneys at Kuiper.

In his free time, he enjoys reading and working out.
