Over the past decade, he worked in business development and strategic planning roles for oil & gas companies Southwestern Energy, EQT, Ascent Resources, and Chesapeake Energy in Houston, Pittsburgh, and Oklahoma City. He also has legal experience in small business, commercial real estate, partnerships, and tax matters.  

Outside of the office, Ryan and his wife Jenny have five kids who are involved in playing sports for their school and club teams. Ryan also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Deer Creek Schools Foundation.
