He later worked as an independent Landman on projects across the country, including more than a decade as a principal of a land brokerage, and most recently as a title attorney. Throughout his career he has focused on helping energy industry participants achieve their business goals.

When he’s out of the office he enjoys time with his family, attending his daughters’ dance recitals and competitions, and seeking out good food, especially in New Orleans.

Sam is a member of the Casa Bonita Founders Club. He also holds a B.A. from Colorado State University and a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
