Matt R. Morrison

Matt is an experienced upstream oil and gas attorney who concentrates his practice on Texas title examination.

Matt counsels clients on title matters and associated areas of law and prepares acquisition, base, drilling, division order, and other title opinions and supplements thereto. He also prepares title curative and other instruments affecting surface, mineral, and leasehold estates, negotiates and prepares oil and gas leases, performs legal research regarding specific title issues and other areas of law, performs due diligence, and calculates complex divisions of revenue interests.

Before practicing oil and gas law, Matt practiced real estate law and performed real and personal property non-judicial foreclosures. And prior to practicing law, he worked in the accounting industry and served honorably in the U. S. Air Force.

Matt is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
